A late 6 months

I know I am a horrible blogger sometimes. What can I say, time escapes me.
This month our little Emery turned 6 months on 09/14. My little darling is learning to sit up, with lots of support and help but do it none the less. She loves the outside and adores Sammy the doggie! She loves to eat, mostly veggies, she is not overly happy to have fruits but will tolarate them if you have oatmeal mixed with them. She doesn't really like thin baby food. She has also tried eating on her own. Crackers work great and she loves em. Bananas and avacados are slippery little suckers and she eats them by mashing them around on her gums.
She is also no longer sleeping in her swaddle. Nights are fine, first nap goes well but second and third nap, not so much. So we are working around this. Emmie is also trying to get rid of her last nap of the day. UGH! She is still in 3-6 months size clothes and size 1 diapers.
At 6 months Emery is 25 1/4 inches long and 13.3 lbs. Still a little bit of nothing but beautiful! She has the most beautiful big eyes and the cutest smile. Her skin is so pretty, she barely ever gets anything like a blemish on her skin. And her nose, oh my goodness the little button nose and bow shapped lips!

On another front...we just found out a couple of days before Emery turned 6 months...magically we are expecting. Yep we are pregnant. So the Fertility Dr gave us a 2 for 1 deal without even knowing it. No we weren't trying, no we didn't go back to the dr, no we had no idea it could happen on our own. But here we are, Mommy is sick and tired, Daddy is working alot! And we are both still in shock but happy. I still can't believe Emery is going to be a big sister. The babies will be 13 months apart in age. So little Cajun Coonass Twins!

Now its time for us to all take a nap!
