Thought it would be great to know this...
This is what happens in a 5day transfer :
0dpt (days past transfer)... Embryo is now a blastocyst (Tues 06/29)
1dpt...Blastocyst hatches out of shell on this day (wed 06/30)
2dpt.. Blastocyst attaches to a site on the uterine lining (thur 07/01)
3dpt.. Implantation begins, as the blastocyst begins to bury in the lining (fri 07/02)
4dpt.. Implantation process continues and morula buries deeper in the lining (Sat 07/03)
5dpt.. Morula is completely implanted in the lining and has placenta cells & fetal cells (sun 07/04)
6dpt...Placenta cells begin to secret HCG in the blood (mon 07/05)
7dpt...More HCG is produced as fetus develops (tues 07/06)
8dpt...More HCG is produced as fetus develops (wed 07/07)
9dpt...HCG levels are now high enough to be immediately detected on HPT (thur 07/08, do I dare test on a Pee stick? Or wait it out for the Dr. bloodwork?)
